Toronto, the city

I like Toronto. I live here.
It's kind of small compared to other cities, I think. Not quite as developed. The subway coverage really sucks.
But I like Toronto. It's urban and vibrant and so diverse. I want to explore it all!

Reading is a passion of mine
something I've loved since I first learned how to sound out individual letters and pronounce them as words since I first realized a story out of a collection of words and found pleasure in it

In university, I've not dedicated a lot of time to reading.
I read every night still, but I read perhaps a few pages at a time?
I get into bed too late every night
that I'm ready for sleep even before I open the pages of my book
Perhaps it's because I've only been reading huge books. I'm reading Anna Karenina presently. Before that I'd finished the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The thing with these huge books is that
characters, plot,
the story gets old. It sort of drags on,
especially when I can only manage a few pages at a time.

I'm craving something new
but I need to finish this! I want to read a lot.

When I'm older and out of school
when I'm a stay-at-home mom
I'll have time
to dedicate myself to my hobbies and interests.

I'm looking forward to it.
