i love driving
Saturday, July 13, 2013 || 2:33 PM
Windows open, wind blowing, music playing
sunshine or street lights
Making quick decisions,
judging speed, acceleration
Avoiding the foolish car driving in my blind spot
talking to drivers that cannot hear me
move it
Laughing, singing,
I'm alone.
What a rush
I feel young and free.
if i married adventure

There are so many things to do here
on Earth and stuff.
There are so many opportunities and chances that are available to us
that allow us to make the most of our time here
on Earth and stuff.
And yet, I feel as if everybody more or less lives the same life:
school > work > family > retirement
Steady jobs, 9-5 weekdays, I think is what most people aim for in the future.
There are so many things, factors, considerations that hold us back. People, our relationships. Money. But I think mostly people, because if you've got a steady 9-5 job, you're likely not struggling.
Wouldn't it be great if we lived independently? There would be nothing tying us down. We would be completely free to go wherever and do whatever.
I want to live in the French countryside, in a little cottage. I want to live in Hong Kong, surrounded by people of my own. I want to go backpacking through Europe without a plan; to live in London, Hamburg, Paris, Ireland, beside famous landmarks and architecture with hundreds of years of history; in New Zealand with a hobbit's lifestyle.
I don't want to be bored for the rest of my life, tied down for the rest of my life, and afraid to do what pulls my heart.
For me, I don't want to work a consistent 9-5 job. I don't want to stay in Toronto for the rest of my life. I want to live as fully and vastly as do I want to.
"Youth is wasted on the young."
